Growing Up

So last night Kaila came down to ask how you could tell if Addie REALLY needed to pee.  Kevin went up stairs to investigate and came downstairs claiming that Kaila was going to be an excellent babysitter when she gets older.  I inquired as to how he knew this. He then relates the following event.

He walked into our bathroom upstairs to find Addie sitting on the potty without her pj bottoms or diaper on.  Kevin asks Kaila if she helped take Addie's diaper off.  She said matter of factly, "yes."  It was so grown up of her to frame her question as HOW do you KNOW if she needs to go.

Oh how I love my little lady that tries so hard to be a little mommy and do more than she really should. ;-)
