Grandma's Heart

Tonight we went to visit "Grandma Sharon" at the hospital. We finally were well enough and she was doing better to visit her after her heart transplant. It was wonderful to see her and talk. She loved seeing SP. Sadly DD was a little frightened of her since she all the tubes and stuff still and looks a little different from the swelling. LM gave her a hug though and didn't seem to mind all the changes. Grandma and Grandpa came with us to help keep the kids happy in the waiting area so we could visit longer. I'm so amazed at the medical technology and that people can live with such a procedure! AMAZING!!!

Summer play dat\

After DD's swim class we went over to her little friends house for a play date. I was going to just take DD and drive over since it would be hot when we were coming home but LM ran over to the stroller and dove in so he could go too. I couldn't say no to that and DD also wanted to walk. Lucky mommy who's 8 months PG gets to push the kids in the heat. Thankfully it wasn't too bad and she only lives a 10 minute walk away. We saw another friend out for a walk too while we were going.

The kids loved playing outside with all the toys and sidewalk chalk. We then headed out back to play in the sand box and play in the fort. The kids loved it. LM so much that his bum was COVERED in sand when we got home and got a mini bath to get a diaper change.

The kids favorite thing was snack time, especially the blueberries. It was fun to hangout and chat. The kids started misbehaving which always signs nap time so we loaded up and headed home.

We didn't get far (only next door) before we stopped in to say "hi" to Grandma Sharon and her sister, Sandy. I knew weeks before they didn't want kids over so I thought we would just stay outside but they had us come in. It was so nice to see her and Sharon was looking SO much better than when I was over a couple weeks earlier for her massage. It was so wonderful to see her so vibrant and happy. The best thing was the swelling in her legs was gone! She looked so much better to me than she did even before her surgery which was wonderful!
