End of basketball/Football season

Yummy Strawberry Cream Roll to celebrate all the birthdays from December to June.  It was fun gathering all together to celebrate.  Dan and kids were able to make it too over to Greg and Sher's house.

Kaila last game and she made her goal...she scored her FIRST basket in a game.  She was thrilled and jumped for joy!  I'm so glad she made it.  Grandpa was there and captured the pictures of her winning shot.  I was too busy watching to remember to record it.

Off to search for the best pumpkin!  My favorite conversation was that of Eric with his leader.  He couldn't find a pumpkin he liked.  His leader found this one pumpkin that was good sized and wiped off the dirt for him.  He looked at it, considered it for a second, and then exclaimed that it was still green and needed more time to grow.  So cute and fun!

What a fun field trip!  I was so glad that I was able to attend and go on this field trip with him.  It's so nice to have time with each of your kids separately.  I also like for them to know that I value them and care about what's going on in their lives.

Grocery Store Field Trip

Glenn got to go on his first field trip with his class.  I was fortunate to go along with him and Kevin had the girls.  It was fun to see and hear about all the behind the scenes of the grocery store.  The freezer was SO COLD!  I couldn't wait to get out of there even with my coat on.  So cold.  The kids were treated to a cookie from the bakery, hot chocolate from the Starbucks in the store, and a balloon from the store as well.  Glenn LOVED it.
