Happy and Sad

My friend, Audra Bartholmew's surgery went well yesterday. They weren't able to remove all of the tumor so it will return again in 4-7 years. such a bummer. We are hoping for over 5 so that she can get life insurance. She was just 2 months short this last time of hitting her 5 year mark. She was so frustrated. I'm glad it all went well though.

Sadly my other friend, Nola, who found out she was PG a few weeks ago had a tubal pregnancy. Yesterday she was cramping in pain and it kept getting worse and worse. She called her husband to come home and the babysitter to come early to help with the boys since she was in so much pain along with her sister and mother. Her tube ruptured. She lost 1 pint of blood internally and had to have emergency surgery. Thankfully she is fine but it's so sad that she lost the baby and now they have half the chance to get pregnant with only 1 tube. She also told me that the chances of having another tubal pregnancy goes up once you have one. So scary. she was in a ton of pain yesterday but thankfully is feeling much better today.
