We made lunch and then Kevin took Kaila to her birthday party for Caitlyn from school at Nuts on Sports Pizza place. Then I went and picked up Nana with Glenn and Rowan (after putting Addie down for a nap) and we dropped Glenn off at the Jensen's for Jake's birthday party. Bishop came home right as I was leaving. He said, "Aren't you staying? I thought you'd want to stay and have some bonding time with Emily?" I told him that he just wants me to stay so that he can leave. I told him I was going to the church with my mom instead and to have fun with the boys. LOL When Kevin went to pick up Glenn later Mark (Bishop) told Glenn, "Thanks for coming to Emily's Party." Too funny! This was Emily's response on Facebook about that comment, "My husband may have said it best when one of the Dads came to pick up their kid. "Thanks for letting your son come to Emily's party". Lol. What can I say, parties and good food are kind of my hobby, and Jake had a great time so it's all good right?!"
Mom and I went to the church for Super Saturday for Powell Valley and Damascus Ward's. I told her I wanted to do some of the crafts so she signed me up. Bless her! It was so much fun to be with the girls. I picked up Kaila from her party and then had her come with me for the evening. She helped paint my board black but had lots of fun playing with a friend, Natalie, from school whose Grandma was there. Later I found out from Kevin that they are in our Ward Boundaries. Some missionary work to do there!
I made a burlap wreath (it took forever to figure out how to make the roses but once it clicked after my 3rd tutelage from the sweet gal helping and 3rd try at it (after going and working on other projects for awhile). It turned out amazing and I love it and the other crafts I did. It makes me so happy to have those things finished! So fun and cute. I finished a block saying that says, "Give THANKS" on one side and on the back side says "BELIEVE." I love them. My mom made a set too! I also did a board that says, "A few of my Favorite Things" that has close pins across the top for pics of the kids and such.
