After picking Glenn up from Preschool I surprised the kids by taking them to lunch at Godfather's Pizza for the lunch buffet with our friends, Kari and girls. Kaila was beside herself with joy when Karley (her BFF) walked in the restaurant. The food was great though something in the pizza sauce doesn't agree with me. The kids loved it but were a bit crazy. Addie was constantly in the bathroom, I finally told her to wait till we got home when she complained of needing to go again and then a minute later she pooped in her underwear. Poor thing. I felt so bad but she kept crying wolf of needing to go and then not going. Thankfully Kari had a diaper in her purse I could use.
I took Karley home for a play date with us and the girls were so happy. Jade joined the party a little later since her parents were heading to the doctors to her her Dad some more pain meds from being hit by a car on his bike. The Four girls and Glenn had so much fun. We all got wet since it was up 80's out and the water literally warmed up so quickly in the pool from the sun. I couldn't get the handle off the hose to set up the other water toys we have but I stood there and held it up for them and then sprayed them as they ran around. The favorite thing was making the slide into a water slide by me spraying water on it as they slid down. :-)
