| Beautiful Sunset driving Home |
While trying to get Kaila to soccer Addie threw one of her princess crock shoes out the window that I had just given her a few hours earlier. I was driving down Chase and heard Addie say, "I drop my shoe." I told her we would get it when we got to soccer. She always is taking her shoes off and throwing them on the floor as we drive places. Then as I turned on to 282nd from Chase I heard terror coming from the backseat as Addie exclaimed, "MY SHOE!!! MY SHOE!!" It was then that I put two and two together. The window was down since it was hot in the car (80 degree day) and she must have thrown her shoe outside instead of on the floorboard. I made a u-turn in a neighborhood and headed back to Chase, turned back on the road, and slowly went up the road and told all the kids to look out the window for her shoe. After we got past the spot I remembered her saying she dropped her shoe we went back down the road again. This time I stopped only to find garbage. The next thing I saw was her shoe. A LUCKY GIRL! I put it on her foot and rolled up the window and locked it for good measure. The stinker! We got to Soccer at 6:30 instead of 6:15 and I was late for Enrichment now.
Thankfully Enrichement was wonderful. It was a celebration on Motherhood and Womanhood. We were served grilled chicken, salad, rolls, and fruit. The high priests served our dinner and one even recited the talk given a few years ago by Elder Utchdorf on "The Forget Me Not." It was wonderful.

Sadly our 1st counselor in the RS Presidency, Linda Hinshaw had suffered a heart attach at work that afternoon so the President was at the hospital with her and they had to find other men to take over making the meat since it was Linda's husband cooking it and he needed to be at the hospital with his wife.
