We went to the zoo today with the kids. LM LOVED it and was pounding on the glass and getting right up by the animals. DD was still scared of anything that was close by. She had an agenda though. First-bears, second monkeys, third- giraffe, though we stopped and saw the elephants first since they were on the way and then she HAD to see the baby so we hiked up and around the elephant building to where the baby is with it's parents in the back field. We had a lot of fun. She loved the baby elephant and the giraffe the best. DH finally got to see the new lion exhibit. He didn't come with us for Halloween and then for the Christmas lights it was closed. They have some fun areas for the kids to climb on and crawl through in there. Both kids LOVED that.
