Today DH was amazing and was able to get DD to transfer from the car seat to her crib while staying asleep. It was much nicer than her 10 minute car nap home from church last week. She slept 1.5 hours which gave DH and I a chance to nap too. It was wonderful.

After her nap DD came downstairs after changing her clothes and getting a diaper change. She had in her hand one binky and one in her mouth. It was funny though because she walked straight into the couch which landed her flat on her face and she then threw both of the binkies behind her on the floor! It was too funny. Also when she woke up DH brought her to bed to see if she would sleep longer with me but that didn't happen. She caught sight of the TV remote on the nightstand and immediately reached for it. This was her way of asking for her show to be turned on. I just picked her up and got her ready instead. Once downstairs though after throwing her binkies she spotted the other remote and took it to Daddy so he would turn on her show which he did. Too funny. She knows how to be persistent and how to play her parents already.

After a little while we headed over to visit with Grandma and Grandpa before they headed off on their camping trip at the beach for the week. They enjoyed playing with DD and seeing her. I also got a glimpse of my Father-in-laws helmet that he was wearing when he crashed. I was shocked! There was literally a huge chunk missing on the right side of the helmet. He is really lucky to be alive!

Later after dinner (mac 'n cheese and fruit) we headed to my parents so they could see DD and we could visit since we haven't seen them for a while. We also gave my nephew his birthday gift that I forgot to bring over when DD and i just headed over when the heat was over 100 and she wasn't napping a few weeks back. We got him a book and some candy. Candy always makes a present "sweeter" to kids!

It was a wonderful day and it was nice to visit with so many family members. DD loved it too.
