Rebecca's HERE!!!

This Christmas we are blessed to have Rebecca come up from California to stay and celebrate with us.  Jonathon (Becca's Boyfriend) came along with her and the kids are so excited to have them here for 5 days.  They will go quickly and I wish her were the whole two weeks but that's not possible with work schedules.

They flew in Friday night before Christmas (dec 20th). My Dad picked them up from the airport and drove them home.  They said hello to Mom and were able to then take my Mom's car to use while they are here for their visit.  So very nice of Mom to do that for them!  Saturday had always been the plan for a shopping day.  We slept in and had a late breakfast of french toast.  Then Rebecca, Jonathon, and I headed to go out shopping.  Rebecca and I go every year when she's here and get things for the kids.  It's so much fun putting outfits together and helping her spend her money on them everyone.  :-)  Mary was the one that got spoiled this year.  Lilly got spoiled last year though the boys got more this year than they ever get which was so fun.

We went first to Costco where I got Dan's present since we are exchanging with him this year.  I also picked up Kevin Les Mis which was the only thing he asked for.  It was super cheap $8.99  so I was able to get him the third batman movie too with my Jury Money.  I was paid almost $18 for being called to serve on a jury even though I was let go before lunch since they settled the case.  :-)  Yeah for some Christmas money to spend.

Next we went to Target where we stayed for the next 4 hours. It was exhausting but fun.  The Men's section was horrible so we knew we needed to go somewhere else for Mitchell and Chandler's presents. After buying everything and waiting for Jonathon to return from whatever store he was at in the Promenade we headed back toward Gresham.

I couldn't wait any longer to eat.  The apple, fruit snacks Becca had, and strawberries I was munching on weren't cutting it.  We stopped and ate at DQ where I could get a burger.  It was delicious after being so hungry.  We ran into the Trumps while we were there.  They had family visiting from out of country and went there for a treat.  It was fun to see them.

Next we dropped off Jonathon at home since his phone was almost dead and we headed over to Fred Meyer.  We found lots of great things in their Young Men section.  That was the problem with Target, they don't have that section.  We finally made it home 12 1/2 hours after we left.  My feet were killing me.  Bless Kevin's heart he massaged my feet for me.  :-)  Did I mention how much I love him?!?
