Support

Today I piled the kids into the car and took them to see Aayla Karlgaard's Talent Show.  She was performing a dance to One Direction and had asked if I would come a few weeks earlier.  I was hoping that I would just take Kaila with me and leave the other two at home but Kevin ended up with a work meeting that afternoon so I had to take everyone with me.

I loved entering my old school, East Orient.  I really enjoyed my time teaching there before being coming a stay at home mom.  It was so fun to run into old friends/staff members.  The kids loved being cooed over.  Addie did fairly well despite the heat in the gym (80 degree day without A/C and all student body in one room).

Aayla did a fabulous job.  So brave to get up and dance in front of the entire school.  Kari said she never would have been able to do that.  I know I wouldn't have either.  I'm so glad that we went.  I know she was happy to have us there to support her.

We left after Aayla performed since there was still 30 minutes to go and we had already been there for over an hour.  I wanted to beat the buses home too.
