Our Camping Surprise was well received by all the kids! They were so excited. We enjoyed a yummy BBQ dinner with Grandma and Grandpa over the fire, marshmallows, and even a bedtime story read by Grandma. We then headed to bed in our tent while Grandma and Grandpa headed inside for their bed. The kids were cold (the temp dropped so much at night). Addie joined me on my single cot and single sleeping bag. I was warmer but VERY crowded. We slept okay with a lot of wake ups. Kevin couldn't sleep on the ground and ended up getting up early with the older kids and made breakfast.
It was a fun outing BUT I think next time we will wait until it's warmer at night :-)
