A friend and her two little ones came over for a play date today. Her oldest is 2 and plays really well with LM more than DD though they all had fun playing on the slide and riding bikes outside. He little one is 6-months and is so cute! He's developing so fast that I know he will be up and running around soon and LM will have another little boy to play with.
My friend was talking to me about her kids allergies. They both just got tested and her poor daughter is allergic to so many things. Her son is allergic to a little (though it sounds like a lot to me) but only two of the allergies overlap. Her Daughter: soy, dairy, eggs, corn, peanuts, corn syrup, sugar, red & green food die, and nitrates. Her Boy: wheat and soy, & sugar. Since she's still breastfeeding she's now on his diet. After hearing all the the things they are allergic too I didn't know what there was that she could feed her child. She said she felt the same way. She told me that after a few weeks of reading a bunch of labels and some cookbooks she's now figured out things they can have. I'm so glad we haven't had to deal with any of that though she's said is worth it because her kids are much happier now!
