Last night was fun hanging with the family. The kids devoured our treats and we only had half a pan of brownies to bring home but all our cookies were GONE!! It was nuts. Today DD got up early and was a bear for swim class. She wanted to just jump in and not swim. She screamed almost the whole time. It was awful and embarrassing. I was happy when they passed the balls out the last 5 minutes of class, her favorite toy. Sadly Grandma showed up as we were walking out from class to go home. She miss read her watch thinking she was early. She's coming on Wednesday now to watch LM since DH got a job starting tomorrow (Yippee). We put DD down early for a nap right after lunch and she woke up happy after her 2.5 hour nap.
DD was horrible yesterday after her nap. It took us an hour to get her happy which I think she took a short nap on my lap in her room after throwing a major tantrum. DH and I were tag teaming to get her happy again. I finally just told her to let me know when she wanted to get dressed and organized her room as she was screaming on the floor. Eventually she calmed down and patted her chair for me to sit in, grabbed her blanket, her binky, and we rocked. After 20 minutes or so she got me a book that I read to her twice and then she was ready to go. I was relieved!
DD's best friend got her a tricycle. She LOVES it. Not so much at the time she opened it but later that day and everyday since. She says,"bike" and climbs on.
