Last night at girls night was awesome!! We had yummy food and chatted and I even left the baby behind! It was so relaxing. Some girls came back to my place and we talked. I took one home at 11 and the other a little after midnight though we talked in the car until 2:15am. It was so nice though. I'm a bit tired today though and LM wouldn't let me completely sleep in. It was 8 though so that was 2 hours longer than yesterday but DD is still sleeping and it's 9am now!! She always sleeps in for me when I have to get her up and DH leaves early for work. It's kind of funny how the kids don't ever want daddy to sleep but let mommy.

So I'm working on DD's screaming today. We'll see how it goes. LM has two little white bumps under his bottom gum. He started drooling really bad about 2-3 weeks ago and now really bites down on everything for the past week or so. It's so sad. DD didn't get her first tooth till she was 1 so I could talk to her about it and she somewhat understood but he's so little and doesn't understand the pain. Poor LM!! This teething is so bad! He was screaming yesterday while driving around so my friend went to the closest store (Kmart) to get him orajel and then we had to buy some the day before at Walmart. Now I just need carry some around with me. I feel so bad for him. There's not much worse than looking at his face as he's screaming and pleading with his eyes," mommy help me" not understanding what's happening.

I was able to get most all of DD's birthday party stuff. I'm so excited for it. I love parties though and I hope she will have a lot of fun. DD loved pulling everything out of the bags and lining it all up on the floor. I got my MIL to watch the kids so I could go kid free. It was so nice. She told me that LM was being funny. She was trying to swaddle him (which she hasn't ever been able to do) and she would get one arm down and wrap it up and move to the next arm and he would pull the first out and laugh. She said he did it over and over, like he totally knew what he was doing. Silly boy.

After it was all over she was acting like she was frightened of the door (lightning). It was pretty funny.

This evening (5ish) we had a Tornado warning. . .very unusually for this area. We were on the outskirts and only got the down pour, hail, lightning, thunder for about 10 minutes and then it stopped. DD and I had fun watching the lightning and she picked up that as a new word. She was hilarious and got scared after the storm was all over and ran from the door. So silly. Our electricity went out right after that so I packed up the kids and went to Taco Bell for dinner since I had a meeting with a friend right before that and was going to cook after it. I then went to the in-laws to hangout till the electricity came back on and DH got home from work.

A friend was sharing with me her recent experience with getting pooped on my a bird and I shared my story with her---

I too had a bird crap on me. I was at Sea World when I was 13 (I think) and it crapped on my head!!! I couldn't wash my hair until the end of the day and had to wipe it off with a napkin. I was so embarrassed that I never told a soul until now.
