Freedom!

It was the most freeing feeling as I left and didn't have another little one with me!  Wow...I LOVE this!!! I had a list of things I needed to do for prep for the busy weekend ahead, Glenn's birthday, and theater tickets.  I decided to call about the theater tickets and decided it was best to drive down there and just get the tickets so we got the best seat available for Charlotte's Web.  We had a coupon for two free tickets from the summer reading program.  We decided to buy 1 more ticket for Glenn for his birthday present too.  After getting the tickets I knew I was close to Voodoo Donuts and decided to get some for Erin and I since we had a lousy week and deserved a pick me up. Then I went to the dollar Store to pick up some stuff for Glenn's party and some valentines for them for preschool too.  I had 15 minutes so I figured 10 to shop and then 4 to checkout and 1 to drive to the school down the road.  I got in a huge lone line and the lady in front of me hands over a HUGE stack of coupons which crashed the system.  I told the lady I had to go and get my kids from preschool and she kept my basket up at the register for me.  What a nightmare.

After getting the kids we all returned to the store and I was able to check out.  Glenn did change which valentines he wanted to give.  I had gotten him batman but he wanted the avengers.  Glad he was able to make that change.

After getting home, eating some lunch, gathering up supplies to work on Glenn's birthday banner, we headed up to Erin's so we could eat out donuts.  I gave the kids some left over cookies before leaving so they had their own treat and wouldn't bug us as much.

Erin was doing a friends hair when we got there.  I got to work on the banner while she finished up.  Addie loved talking away with Erin's friend.  It was fun to meet her and visit.  The best part was eating the donuts though!  I got two different cream filled (one with maple top and one with chocolate).  They were both great!  Then I go the traditional voodoo doughnut filled with raspberry.  Delish! We split each one  in half so we could both enjoy all of them.  So yummy!

Glenn found this hilarious wig while playing at Erin's.
He told me to take a picture and send it to Daddy.
I love how he crossed his eyes on purpose for the pic.

That night for dinner and FHE we had Erin, Makenna, and Micah come and join us.  I talked about service and had the kids find all the funny things hidden in the picture of different people doing acts of service.  I just love the Friend magazine and out I can just put a lesson together on the spot with little to no prep.  Works really well for me. :-)
