Addie got to finally got to start preschool. She was a bit nervous when we got there and started putting he extra clothes in Glenn's cubby. She started hanging on me saying she wanted to go home with me. I just ignored her as she kept saying that and asked her what picture she wanted for her cubby. Glenn ended up picking out the animal picture for her and even her t-shirt color (the same as his). I wrote the check which was about 4 times more than we thought it was going to be with registration fee and something else I can't remember right now. That wasn't fun. I showed Addie her new bag and then her t-shirt which they had written her name on as I was filling out the check. She let me put her shirt on her and I told Glenn to take her and show her where they go to sit for story time since it had just started. She willingly went with him thankfully! I would have left then but I forgot to take her to the bathroom first to make sure she would be fine while I was gone. I waited till they got up to go to the different groups and took her to the bathroom. She did great all on her own. She was obsessed with the chart for helping you wash your hands and she went step by step. It was cute. I gave her a hug afterward and told her to have fun and she let me leave.
When I picked her up after school she was so excited and told me all about eating pretzels for snack and how she had a wonderful day. Glenn was bummed that she wouldn't let him play with her. Such a sweet brother. I guess she made a bunch new friends, one of which was Sophia. I'm so glad she had a great experience!
