Free Day

Today was so nice to just relax at Rebecca's house while she went to work.  I did laundry while the kids watched movies.  We took everyone swimming after Addie's nap at the community pool.  The kids LOVED it and didn't want to leave.  I think they would have stayed there all day.  Addie had no fear and was jumping in the water whether someone was waiting for her or not.  (scary!)  Glenn was freezing so we spent a good chunk of time in the hot tub warming up.  There were a couple other families there and it was fun talking with them.  The kids shared snacks and fought over toys ;-).  My friend Soojin (from my Little Sparkler's board) met us there and we had fun chatting until she had to leave.  It was too short of  a time but was lots of fun to chat for a bit.

That night we headed down to the street fair for dinner.  We got some tapas to eat.  YUM!  Then we got some ice cream sandwiches on real cookies.  The kids enjoyed them.  I thought the ice cream was a little freezer burnt.  The kids loved watching the street performers and looking at all the fun little things.  Jonathon found a pair of swim shorts to wear and then ended the night buying a churro.  It was DELISH!!!  Over all it was a GREAT day.
