Beach Day

After spending a wonderful few days with Sean. Jen, and Zoe we headed to join the Lewis clan at the south Huntington Beach.  But first we had a last lunch at a Mexican restaurant with Sean and Zoe.  They had wonderful horchata.  The kids got restless so I took them out to the car to watch a movie while Kevin waited for the check.  We invited Zoe to come join us in the a/c and watch the movie though she only go to watch for a few minutes till the boys joined us.

We hit traffic along the way (not fun when it's the middle of the day).

We had a great time at the beach with Kevin's sisters and kids.  Sadly we got there a little late and it was very cloudy and COLD.  Glenn was really cold but that didn't stop all of us from getting in the water and playing.  Kaila's favorite thing was collecting shells from the beach along with rolling all over the sand (collecting sand in her hair).  Addie loved playing in the sand and spending time with cousin Brianna. Kevin had a blast out in the water with his nieces and then playing volleyball with his cousins.  Rebecca joined us after driving around and them having closed the entrance we were at and then needing to go and get cash to get in.  Bless her heart she got us food to eat (brats, chips, and grapes). Emma and Riley came down with Grandma and Grandpa so they got to enjoy the food too since Grandma forgot they would need something to eat.  Riley was Very grateful for the food.  I enjoyed roasting marshmallows for everyone and making s'mores. YUM!
