I LOVE Time Out for Women. I always come away feeling better about myself and ready to be a better mother and wife when I get home. The theme this year was of hope. One speaker, Mark, said we needed to make our hope list. I turned the page in my notebook and started to make a HOPE list. He had told his wife his hope list and she thought some of the ideas was CRAZY. He said that is was his list and if he hoped for it, it was staying. I agreed and immediate wrote what I really hope for. Among other things one of those thing was for DH to get a script made and to direct which I know would make him so happy. I love how the Lord can work miracles in our life because, that speaker spoke on Friday Night, he was still there Saturday and as I went up to talk to him today I asked him how he got into directing. He said it fell into his lap and I was telling him how lucky he was and how my husband produces commercials. He thought was was wonderful but I told him how he really wants to do what he's doing though and is there any tips/advice he had for him. He asked if he's a photographer (that's what the speakers job was that got him started) and I said no but he's starting to get into that but he writes scripts. He got VERY interested then because he's in search of a script writer!!! I couldn't believe my luck. He gave me a picture that he had taken that had his personal email on for DH to write to him. I had chills and goosbumps just thinking that I may have helped my husband acheive his dream and oen of my BIG items on my "hope list". I texted DH right away to let him know and he wrote him tonight!!! We will see if anything come from it but I'm so happy that we might have a lead. In his industry it really is all about WHO you know and not WHAT you know. Please pray for us that something GOOD might come from this contact.
