Thankful For Doctors

We are so blessed to have doctors to check up on our kids and make sure they are growing properly. I'm especially grateful for vaccines. I know there are lots of people that think some of them are bad and I'm on the fence about that BUT they do help keep us healthy for the most part and I'm so very grateful for that!

SP had her 2-month appointment today and since DH was working and all my babysitters were booked I got to take all three kids with me by myself. Sadly Addie's appointment got bumped twice since her Doctor was out both times so we saw a new doctor. Thankfully this doctor was GREAT with children. If I didn't love Dr. Chen I would switch over to her in a heartbeat (Sally Visher, NP). She helped entertain the kids for me while I was feeding SP and while she was was checking SP over too. She made sticker Popsicle stick puppets and tore off some of the paper from the bed to put on the floor with crayons for the kids to color on. BRILLIANT!!! I was very thankful. It took for ever to get to the shots though and the kids and I walked (they ran) the little hallway outside to keep happy. DD was a sweetheart and held her sisters hand while she got her shots and I was comforting her and holding her still. I was so impressed with DD and not being scared about it. What a great sister she is.
