DD is SO NOT ready to be potty trained. I think we lucked out that one time she went. She shakes her head at me. It's all fine so I'm just waiting for her to be ready and not pushing it.
So today went better than I thought it would. DH had his training again all day. LM slept in for me so I got to sleep until 8:45 when DH left. DD got another 10 minute morning nap today. She wanted it all on her own. I wonder if she's going through a growth spurt? DD and LM both took naps at the same time which was awesome. LM woke up early though but was still tired. After trying the binky twice I figured out he needed oraljel and that solved the issue and he went right to sleep. DD has been loving sitting in the big chair for meals and did great today and yesterday. I was able to even get some grocery shopping done with both kids before our night out with DH's family. We had fun going to Red Robin and then Comedy Sportz. DH wanted two babysitters since it was the first time we left LM with teens. The second one came 2.5 hours after we left and I guess didn't do much but hold the baby while the first one made the bottle. Next time DH can just let her come and it will be cheaper! I can't believe how much our evening out was- $90 and it didn't feel like we had a $90 night. Oh, well. I'm glad we have parents around to watch the kids for us so it's CHEAPER!!! Sadly my parents were out of town this weekend.
DD discovered my umbrella in the drawer in my closet and had fun playing with it. I love seeing her amusement in the "ordinary" things of life.
