Happy Mother's Day!!

Today was such fun. DH tried to make me breakfast in bed but I woke up to soon and he didn't know how to make the mix for the French Toast so I helped him. It was too cute. It was yummy though. The card DD got for me was one of the recorded ones but when I pressed the button there wasn't anything there. DH was devastated! He had her record it again yet again it wasn't there. He tested it and it worked. We finally got her talking on it for memories sake. He said the first time he recorded it she said Mother's on it. I felt so bad for DH since all his plans and preparations weren't working for him. It's the thought that counts though. My present from him won't be coming/or getting until Wednesday. I can't wait to see what it will be. He did make ribs for dinner that were yummy with honey buttered rolls. We had dessert at my parents (strawberries and whip cream over angel cake). It was so yummy and the best was just visiting with my mom.

The kids were great for us at church too. LM went 4 hours between feedings (took two naps!) so I didn't miss out on any of the lessons. DD sat well and was quiet. I ended up having to teach Sunday School (which I've NEVER had to do on Mother's Day but I think the men forgot to get subs for us). I also took on another class and ended up with 17 kids!!! YES- 17. They got DH to come in and help me manage the kids which ended up being a good thing since one kid had an issue. It turned out well and I was able to put my college education degree to work. I made up a lesson off the top of my head. We made a letter to our mom's or wrote them a poem (some did both) and then I did a mini lesson on "Establish...a house of God." It turned out fairly well and one of my students even said so as I was leaving church. Another students parent (from the other class) called to thank me too. It was very sweet.
