So the nap didn't happen...not too surprised by that. DH was released today from his calling as Elders Quorum 2nd Counselor (big relief for him though they have something in mind for him and that came from some one at the Stake Level...we are wondering what that might be.) I was waiting for the former Elder's Quorum President to come and get the key and booklets DH had to turn in. He didn't come at the time DH thought he would come and then LM woke up from his nap. I was bummed but oh well!
LM was pretty cranky and wouldn't nurse much. I keep wondering if he's trying to ween himself but then he will have a great nursing session the next time we try to feed or the time after that. He does love food so at least I know he's not hungry!

DD was so excited to do pumpkin carving though that excitement was short lived. She LOVED digging all the guts out on Friday yet tonight she said, "ewe" and wanted to wash her hands. She lasted only for about 1 minute and then was off to play with (or torture) her brother and read some Halloween books I picked up from the library for pre-school.
Our pumpkins turned out pretty sweet I think. Though we broke all our carving tools I just got. They weren't made out of the finest material though. The baby pumpkin is the one we did on Friday for Kai and DH's is the guy pulling down the curtain shade. I did the castel with the ghost. They were fun to do and the toasted pumpkin seeds I made after were delish!DD got some much needed Daddy time today after not seeing Daddy for so long. It's hard on her for him to be home all the time then gone all the time. It was even harder this week because he was home Tuesday but then gone all of Saturday and this morning too. They had fun dancing together and DD enjoyed all the attention especially doing one of her favorite things.
