LM's 6-month pics since I didn't get them taken yesterday. DD had to get in on the action too. Look closely at some of her funny expressions. She's such a ham!

What a BIG boy!

We (DD, LM, and I) went to the zoo today with a friend and her family. It was great despite the heat! The animals were out which was a surprise to me and we even got to see the black bears that are always hiding! DD loved some animals this time that she didn't care about before (birds and Chimpanzees) and was scared to death of other ones she use to love (polar bear and the Sea lion). LM LOVED looking at all the animals and hated being restricted by the blanket I kept draping over the stroller to keep him protected from the sun.

The polar bears were awesome to watch swimming back and forth. His paw even came right by me to push off the wall, DD HATED the bears. She thought they were very scary though she was okay with the other ones on the ground around the corner. When I told Kevin what we saw he said it saddened him because the wouldn't normally swim back and forth but since being in captivity has made they have such a behavior. Sad thought.

This little guy was so funny to watch. (Sorry about the window glare). He kept covering himself up with cardboard and newspaper making himself a bed and blanket. The kids LOVED watching him.

The second pic down on the left is of the bald eagle. He was sitting right by the path. DD LOVED him and kept pointing saying "bird".

I went over and gave my PG friend a foot massage tonight after she got her girls in bed. It was a long day at the zoo and I knew she would like that. I LOVED it when I was PG and frankly any time. It was nice to hangout together since we weren't able to really talk at the zoo with so many people (group of 13 kids and 5 adults). We also had a fun little adventure returning (what we thought was opened) ice cream back to Fred Meyer.
