Gresham is finally trying to catch up with the surrounding cities in the area. For FHE we decided to check out the new splash pad. We picked up some pizza from Little Ceaser's and met up with Erin, Makenna, and Micah at the splash pad. We had lots of fun and the kids really enjoyed it though it was a bit cold. I even joined them with thrilled Kaila and she enjoyed pushing me around in the water.
Sadly after we had only been there 20 minutes they made an announcement that in 15 minutes they were turning off the fountains for the music that was being played that evening. I was shocked and frustrated along with Kevin and Erin. I was actually looking forward to the music (that while they were sound checking you could her just fine over the water) while the kids played in the water. It was a bummer especially for those poor families that were just arriving to play in the water.
