Backyardigans!!!

Soccer season again!!!  The kids are so excited especially Addie who gets to play for the first time.  I stopped by Goodwill before heading to Big 5 and Fred Meyer to find Addie some soccer shoes.  We haven't found Kaila's old shoes.  While there I lucked out and got shoes (I think baseball cleats for Addie-a little big at 9.5 instead of 8) BUT they will work since they were $8.  I got Kaila two pairs one in her size now and one that's a size up for later.  One pair was even half off at just $3.5!!   I then could take back the cleats I got for her at FM and get all that money back.  Then I went to the sporting goods and found two pairs of shin guards for Kaila and Glenn and got a soccer ball for Addie too!  I was thrilled to be able to find all of that and for cheap.  I also got Addie another pair of sandals that are her size and a pair of shoes she can grow into.  Kevin texted me and asked if I got Addie some shoes and I wrote back the list of things I got.  Kevin said he was having a heart attack with how much that would be to get until I said the the total was $34!!!  Amazing.  After taking back Kaila's cleats all of that was only $4.  :-)  Happy Day!

I'm excited to see what Kaila will do this year.  I hope she gets more aggressive than last year.  It helps that she understands the game more this time since last year she didn't know anything about the game.  I'm so glad that Kevin's worked with the kids on learning more footwork and helping them gain a better sense of confidence in there skills.
