My friend from middle school/high school invited us to her girl's birthday party at her parent's house. They live in Bend but were in town to celebrate. It was so fun to meet up and catch up on old times. She was sweet enough to me and gave me a VERY long back massage trying to help my poor back that was killing me still. I really was thinking that my rib popped back out of place from yesterday after Milaka put it back in. Her dad who is a licensed massage therapist didn't think that would really be the case. He did give me some special water that went through his filter he has and some other stuff to try (which I did when I got home and thought it was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted--they had said that it didn't taste like anything). It actually reminded me of the test strip we were handed in Biology class to see if we had the extra taste bud and I did and tasted it. It was that bad!
The kids had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave. The ran all around the house and wore themselves out.
Maddy and Melody opening their gifts. We got Maddy a notebook and pens like Kaila had just bought at Fred Meyer with her own money. We gave Melody two fun new books that Addie really LOVED. It was so cute seeing Addie being so good with Melody getting all these fun new toys. She's such a good girl. Thankfully Melody didn't mind sharing her dolls she got though Addie quickly found playing with the other kids running a lot more appealing.
