Sweet Kaila

Last night I got a bout of morning sickness while trying to put the kids to bed (Kevin was out doing a visit for the Bishopric) and ended up laying down on Glenn's bed and falling asleep in the middle of Aof F with the kids.  Glenn curled up next to me and fell asleep and I could hear in the distance of my mind Kaila helping Addie say her article of Faith and saying prayers.  (I fell asleep before Addie had a chance to say hers).  I'm so grateful for such sweet kids to help me out when I'm not feeling well.

Kaila came into me and woke me up later.  She said she'd finished her book and wanted me to take a picture of her with it.  I got up from Glenn surprised to see him asleep next to me and fell in love with him all over again.  What a sweet boy he is!  I found my phone at the end of the bed and after tucking the blankets around Glenn left to charge my phone that was almost dead to take a picture for Kaila.

I saw the time was almost 10pm!  I couldn't believe Kaila stayed up reading that long.  I peeked in the girls room and Addie was sound asleep on her bed.  I was worried she would be awake playing since Kaila had been up reading.  I guess playing all day at Grandma and Grandpa's house wore her and Glenn out. Yeah!  After plugging my phone in and letting it charge enough to take a picture I took a picture of Kaila with her book and told her to hurry to bed since it was so late.  She and I both lucked out with it being late start this morning!  What a sweet girl we have.  I'm so proud of her and her love of reading.  Especially that she wanted to share that joy with me.  How I love her!
