I was lucky enough to be able to go to dinner with my girlfriends and celebrate my good friend, Kari's, birthday at the same time. I love it when the girls are able to get together. They really help to revive me and make me feel like an individual. I told the girls that there was a new movie at the temple that they all needed to go see. They thought I was talking about the new movie that came out a couple months before but this one just came out last week. I saw it last week and again with Kevin on Friday. I saw it again that morning. I LOVED it. It's all the same words but with different actors and the scenery and other aspects were different. I just loved the emotion behind it. Suzi saw it last Thursday and felt the same way. Sandy had seen it but she said there was one part in the other new one that she liked better. I told her we needed to go together so that she could tell me what part that was.
After dinner Alison gave me a knitted purse and some juicy shoes ($70 shoes). What a thoughtful present. Her sister gave them to her though they weren't her size to give to someone that she new would appreciate them. What a lift that simple gift has given me. I LOVE the purse and can't wait to use it. Some of us hung out afterward at Kari's house. I didn't end up getting home until 1am. That made for a very early start the next day...thankfully it was a late start Wednesday.
