Charlotte's Web

Having fun in the cut outs in the wall along the sidewalk on our walk up to the Auditorium

As I was driving down to see the play with the kids I was having a hard time finding a parking spot that was longer than 30 minutes.  We needed 90 minute parking if not longer and I wasn't finding it anywhere except one spot had three spaces but they were all filled.  Kaila asked if she could say a prayer to help us find a spot for 90 minutes and to do so quickly.  Oh me of little faith didn't' think a prayer would really help but let my sweet little 6 year old pray for it.  Sure enough after just 3 blocks we found 90 parking!  It was an answer to her prayers.  I told her to say a Thank You prayer which she immediately did.  What a testament that God does care about the little things in our lives if we seek Him out for help.  Kaila was thrilled and told Daddy all about it when we saw him later that night.
The kids loved this cut out for Fancy Nancy...a play they have coming up this year.

Fun rocking chairs in the halls outside the auditorium

Waiting for the play to begin.  It wasn't the best play I have seen.  The kids loved it but I think if they could have made it 45 minutes instead it would have been much better for them.  Glenn was asked to please not stand up by the lady behind him.  Poor guy had a hard time staying still and wanting to see better was trying to get the best view.  I finally put him on my lap which helped for a few minutes.

Thanks to Suzi and Vaughn who watched Addie for us since Kevin had a soccer game that night too (he pulled his groin at too).  I took the kids to my parent's house real quick to eat dinner and play with cousins.  They loved it but it was too short of a time and some didn't listen to me about eating as much as they wanted before playing because there wouldn't be any food once we got home since it was bedtime.
