We checked into our hotel room and changed all the kids into their church clothes to be ready for the wedding and headed out to Callahan's Lodge for the wedding. The kids were super excited. I was excited to see all the family. Jen and Al were coming from California, Greg and Sher were driving down, and so were my parents.

We all headed down to find seats and wait for the wedding to begin. It was VERY HOT that day. I was grateful for the fan program to help shade us from the sun and to fan ourselves with.

Kaila couldn't wait to see the bride!

We all loved the bagpipes and thought they were a nice touch.

Here comes the Bride...Shannon and her two fellas

The Reception:

While waiting for the catering to be ready for dinner the kids LOVED playing in the rose petals and spinning around on the ground. Glenn and Kaila made quick friends and had lots of fun.

The food was delicious and they also had gourmet cupcakes for dessert. First time I've seen that but loved it. I loved trying bites of all the kids so I could sample more of them. YUM! Jen made balloon animals off to the side for all of the kids and they loved them! My kids couldn't leave her side. I was finally asked to help them find something else to do since they were bugging Jen a little to much for her liking and so I got them to start Dancing. They really enjoyed the whole evening! It was so fun to reconnect with family. I hadn't seen Kevin in a very long time...I think since Jen's wedding to Al. It was great to visit and also see Karen (Kevin's sister's) son, Nicholas. He's grown up so much since I saw him last.
The kids LOVED the hotel room too. We always let the kids jump on the hotel rooms beds. It so fun watching them to have fun. When ever we can we always get a hotel with a pool too. Sadly the pool was freezing! Kevin and I took turns going and swimming laps after the kids went to bed after the wedding and the next morning we all went swimming before checking out. It really was cold. I felt bad for the kids. They still had fun but not as much fun as they could have if they weren't freezing.
