There is something that both Kevin and I love about tiny tots drinking from straws...SUPER CUTE

Glenn's been BEGGING to go to McDonald's for a LONG time.  I keep pushing him off because really it's not a great food, second it's money out the door, and third well, it's McDonald's.  Today he asked me again so I told him to go ask Daddy.  (Kevin hates that btw)  The lucky kid won but I played it off as Daddy's taking us somewhere special but they knew what that meant.  Kevin and I got to try 5Guys that just opened up (take out) and then we drove to Taco Bell for Kaila's soft bean and cheese tacos and a cheese roll up for Addie.  Finally we made it to McDonald's for the kids to run and play.  They were thrilled and Glenn got his chicken nuggets (ate only two) but they ran their little hearts out and Addie even went up to the big slide a few times.  Yeah for Sandy being SLOW and we were the only ones there.  Also, their slide has steps going up so Addie could crawl right up.  She LOVED it.

It was a fun night together as a family...especially since Kevin is off on a job tomorrow and starts another one on Wednesday (technically started half a day today too).  Yeah for work though!  Tonight during FHE we talked to Kaila about what it meant for Daddy to work. For example to bring in money for us to live here.  "Or we might move," she said--poor kid has moved a lot in her short life. We explained no but that we would have to live outside because we wouldn't have some place to be.  She got that message loud and clear and was then happy for Daddy to work, before she was said he was going away.
