Thankful for Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was wonderful. I was a stress case leading up to it since planning didn't go the way I envisioned but it turned out wonderfully! I love having all the family together, especially at our home since I'm able to put the kids down for their naps and wake them up when they are use to getting up. It's a lot less stressful than traveling with them.

DH started of the day with his Turkey bowl (tradition) and came home caked in mud. I thought he was nuts since it was so COLD outside. To each their own though. He loved it and that's what matters...especially when he come away uninjured!

DH's sister's family came early and got a little photo shoot in before our big meal. Grandma made the turkey again and everyone contributed to the meal. I love pot luck style since then no one is burdened too much.

After dinner everyone came to our house (few friends and my side of the family) to give SP her name and blessing. It was wonderful to have so many wonderful family priesthood holders in one room giving our sweet baby girl her blessing. She was so happy during the whole thing too. We took pictures and then everyone dug in for dessert and I fed the wee one. ;-)
