Knotty Knitters Christmas Dinner

5 years ago I was laying on the couch recovering from my first major car accident (March 2006). I was in the Relief Society Presidency (secretary) and the Relief Society had a new program for "Home Making" now called "Enrichment Groups". Carol (2nd counselor) in the Presidency called me saying we really HAD to get this knitting group going to help reactive a sister. I agreed and knew it was time to head out of the house even in pain to make this group happen. We started meeting and now I'm so happy to report that sister has come back to church along with her entire family. I have learned to knit which is a fun skill to have and a blessing to make something from Mommy for each of them. Most importantly I have made some very dear and WONDERFUL friends that I normally would not have gotten the chance to know.
