Thankful for Busy Days

Today we took the kids to Target and did some Christmas shopping. We got LM a cute little suit/vest outfit and Christmas PJ's for DD and LM. It was fun and the kids liked it. LM even walked most of the store which I was impressed that he didn't make a huge mess. Gives me hope as SP gets bigger and will be riding in the cart instead!

We also had fun visiting with DH's sister and family while the IL's showed them their RV. It was fun letting the kids run around (soaking their pants too ). We then had a dinner and play date at our friend's house. We missed their son's first birthday party so we had a little make up party. It was fun to visit with them and the kids had LOTS of fun playing together.

I got some of my settlement money today. Some is being held for PIP which my lawyer is trying to get back for us instead of paying the insurance company for since it was an under-insured accident. I hate how many fees are taken out of the money. I got about 35% of what I was awarded which is frustrating since that won't even come close to covering half the costs of surgery. What a mess.
