Thankful For a Washing Machine

Nothing is as sad as when one of your kids is sick. Poor DD has the flu. I hate throw up! Thankfully it's already laundry day...just about 5 more loads than normal (all bedding and throw up stuff). ;-) Awesome quote from DD though, "Mommy, when I get older I want to do laundry." I told her okay and if I could write that down and have her sign it. lol After throwing up twice on herself she figured out what it felt like and was able to warn us and grab a bowl to throw up in. We only went through three outfits, four bur lankets, TONS of anti bacterial wipes (I was wiping EVERYTHING down), and one shower (I believe).

Our go-tos...bowl, wipes, and toast.

It was so sad every time DD tried to eat something she threw it up...even her Tylenol to help with her fever. Finally after making her wait hours the third try she kept down a few bites of toast. She wanted more but I made her wait to see if her tummy would tolerate it. We knew she was feeling better that night when she started to play around again right before scripture study. It ended up being more of a 12 hour flu 7-7.
