Not the Best

Tonight was not the best. I was cooking dinner, the garbage disposal clogged, I opened up the cupboard to empty the pipe out, found rat poop on everything (it's nibbled the hold for the pipe opening and there was a small pile of sawdust there), LM was reaching in the sink while a knife was in there and playing with the toaster, the soup burns on the bottom, I turn around and DD snips a hole in her jeans, DH goes to the store for gaskets for the pipes that broke apart while unscrewing the pipe, one won't fit and it still leaking, back to the store and they don't have a different size (told to put it on straighter), puts it on again and it works, clean out the cupboard, and put everything back. We've definitely had better nights. If you think I kept my cool through all of that your dreaming...I lost it with DD cutting her new jeans that she's worn 3 times. UGH! On the upside all three kids went to bed pretty well tonight. SP was really cranky through most of that too but fell asleep on my lap while I was playing a game with DD before bed and thankfully has been sleeping since. That might not be good for tonight but I needed the break!
