A friend from knitting stopped by today with SP's baby gift. She knitted her a hat and two sets of socks for her. She let me pick out the style of hat and yarn and I just LOVE it. Surprisingly SP's heat is still small for it but it's so cute. She'll be able to grow into it now too which is wonderful. The knitted socks are great too and VERY soft. I was so happy to have her come over to help me with the booties I'm trying to make for SP. The pattern says to cut the yarn and I've never done that and was scared to do that without knowing for sure it was okay. She helped me through the process and told me how to do a few of the stitches I've never heard of before too! Now I think I'm able to finally finish them.

She looks darling. And that hat is so stinking cute. Just in time for cold weather.
