Tonight I finally decided to make the chocolate chip cookies with added peanut butter chips that Grandma brought over awhile ago. The ingredients have been sitting on the counter for awhile now but I was waiting to pick up some more brown sugar at the store. I don't know how I didn't have any in our food storage but I didn't. They are SO GOOD!!! I'll have to post that recipe soon. It makes a ton so I got some small plates out and we put some on all the plates and I had DD pick a few people to give them too. She choose all her little friends which was perfect. I chose our neighbor across the street, a new family we met while walking to the park, and our old neighbor that use to live downstairs from us at our old house. After getting them all packaged up I loaded the older two kids in the car and we headed out to deliver out cookies to our old neighbor, Shari.
The kids were so excited (DD especially for holding the cookies). They love Shari and miss seeing her. It was so nice. We were able to visit and chat about life and watch the kids go crazy. The kids lucked out with a huge bag of blocks while we were talking and built us a ton of cities to look at. It was so nice to see her again.
