I just love the mothers in my life. I was talking to my mom this morning about some library books that were over due and not being able to make it to the library...not chancing that with a possible poop explosion. She said she would come over after going to the gym and stay with the kids so I could run some errands. I was able to turn in books and then run to the grocery store really quick. I was so thankful. Thankfully LM slept the whole time I was gone and my mom, bless her heart, folded the laundry that was in the dryer for me! How sweet is that! Tonight my MIL came over and watched the kids so I could get out of the house and go to my knitting group. I haven't been since October 13th the day before my friend had her baby. It's been way too long! I missed them all.

Today we had lots of fun. We made water color paintings and I tried showing DD that she can make a butterfly with her paint just like she does on her etch-a-sketch. I think she was shocked. She loved seeing me make a flower too. I don't know if she realized that she can do more than lines and circles with watercolors. It was cute. LM and I played with a block stacking set he got for Christmas. He wanted the paints but I managed to keep him busy.
Pictures by DD...notice the pic of calling Aunt Becca on the phone. She misses her! She asks to call her every few days. It's sweet and my sister LOVES it.
We then made pizza for dinner. DD LOVED every part of it, rolling the dough, making the sauce (especially putting the seasoning in--once opening the wrong side and poured some EVERYWHERE!), sprinkling the cheese, putting the pepperoni on with an olive on top of each slice along with pineapple, and more cheese on top. She had to wear Daddy's apron too but she was so cute in it. I think we will be doing that again. She was even telling LM while waiting to eat, "[LM], want yummy pizza?" Thankfully both kids ate it too since all last week they wouldn't eat what I made (ch. enchiladas, cornflake encrusted chicken, toasted cheese sandwiches, roasted red pepper soup, homemade ch. noodle soup...)
