Preschool
I have a few friends that have their 2-year old's in a preschool setting. I was asking them what they did in a day to see how my preschool compared and to make sure I was doing enough. Most of the kids were working on the alphabet and their letters and most go for 2-3 times a week. I only do preschool once a week for 1.5 hours with the kids and we always do art, read stories, sing songs, and work on shapes and a little counting and singing the alphabet. Later on this year I plan on focusing on learning the letters and numbers. The librarian that we go to for story time said they were too young to work on letters and full understand the concept but to work on shapes so that's what I did once he said that. The kids are getting pretty good and it's hilarious to hear DD say octagon. Thankfully I feel I'm doing enough for them and trying to not have them grow up too soon! They are 2 after all!
