Prayer request, please! I'm so sick over it. A girl from church (7) is in the hospital and they don't know what's wrong yet. She was diagnosed with mono on Monday then had glazed eyes, slurred speech, and no head/muscle control so they took her to the doctor. They did an MRI and ruled out a brain tumor, did a spinal tap at 1am (Saturday morning) looking for meningitis. The friend I was talking too left the hospital before the results came back. It's so scary and the doctors said they will be there for awhile. The girl-Emma- has had enough of being there and last night at 10pm she was finished. She wanted the IV out, food and water, to go home, and her own bed. It was so sad. They couldn't give her anything to calm her down either because they needed the meds for the spinal tap in a few hours. My friend, the mother is also 4cm dilated as of Monday and is scheduled to be induced on Friday but could go at anytime. Every time she got up to walk yesterday started contractions. They also have a 1 year old (just his past Nov.), a 3.5 year old, and a 9 year old. Please pray for the family and the doctors to be lead to know what to do for them! I'm worried sick about it all and can't even imagine being my friend about to give birth and having her little girl so sick and not knowing what's wrong at the same time.
