My little boy is VERY demanding and this week DD is too. It seems I always have someone wanting to sit on lap or wanting to be carried around. Oh the joys of what it will be like with three. Thankfully DD and LM will be able to play with each other.
I guess my last post didn't post on Sunday. I told the rest of the family on Saturday and was bawling. It wasn't the way I wanted to tell everyone but things never lined up for me to tell them so instead everyone gathered for me to speak to them which wasn't what I wanted. Hormones got the best of me and I couldn't speak and then my mom said that everyone loves me, to which DH said everyone's going to think I have Leukemia, and then I knew I needed to say something fast and finally got out that I'm PG again. Everyone I guess thought I had some major health issue or we were moving. Only my SIL thought I was PG again but disregarded the thought thinking that was crazy...Well, it is. I'm finally accepting the fact that this happening. I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be a boy or girl. I'm thinking girl and had a dream about a girl already though I didn't feel if it was mine or not. I have had dreams about the sex of both kids and they have been correct so I'm waiting to find out this time too.
Things have been busy here:
Last Thursday- I had some appointments and LM got measured again--1.5 inches shorter than the doctor's office so I'm guessing they were wrong which they did that once with DD. He was squirming around a lot so it doesn't surprise me but I know they are not going to like it when he hasn't grown when he goes into his next appointment.
Sunday- We had dinner with 3 of my siblings to celebrate my mom's b-day and my dad put a slide show together of pictures of my mom, us kids, and grandkids. It was wonderful. DD also sang "happy birthday" for the firs time. She's been singing it ever since. SO CUTE!!!
Monday- DD woke up singing happy birthday to LM and I told her it was Nana's birthday. So we called her and she said, "Happy Birthday Nana." It just melted my mom's heart especially when she said, "I love you." It was so sweet! Later, I took both kids shopping and we made it through barely without melt downs since it was nap time. After shopping my mom came over to talk with me for a bit and I gave her her present (a puzzle--it's tradition).
Tuesday- I had preschool and my PG brain was TERRIBLE. I kept loosing everything I picked up. UGH!! I hope that doesn't happen next week. My dad came over and helped me fix a few projects around the house (closet doors, attic stairs, and helped remake the bed). We went for a walk with the dog around the house and the kids played in the grass on on the swing set. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!! A little cold though with the wind but LM LOVED the slide and DD loved the swing. DD had a HORRIBLE day though. In the morning I had the LM on my lap and then felt wet...he soaked through his diaper...something that's been happening lately! As I'm changing him DD says she needs to peep and so I say okay lets go and she looks at me and holds her pants so I checked her and she was wet! I was so frustrated. I asked her where she peed and she wouldn't tell me. I asked if it was on the couch or our bed...she had been snuggling with me before LM woke up. She said the couch but it wasn't wet. I checked the bed and didn't feel anything but could she a little spot and it smelled like urine so I stripped the bed and the mattress cover and washed them (the cover is what my Dad helped put back on). The funny thing is that she said later in the day she peed on the couch BUT her socks were wet. For her socks to be wet she would have to be standing (not laying=bed, or sitting=couch). She then peed again that afternoon BUT did poop on the potty all by herself without even telling me about it...REALLY?!?!? Then that evening she peed again and after she was dressed in her PJ's. I was NOT happy at all about that. She's NEVER done that poorly EVER!!!! I don't know what was happening there. She hated all her showers that day. Though both kids were bathed and dressed before 8am since they both woke up early.
Today- DD was perfect with staying dry. I really wish I could understand what happened yesterday. At least she was good today. It was sunny today and I got a lot done inside the house since I did wedding outside yesterday. I did more laundry and moved the bed in our room to make room for a little corner table for DH. I also vacuumed under all the beds and the whole house. My friend called at lunch time to see about going to the park together so I got the kids fed and we headed out. It was beautiful at home but once on the gorge the winds were CRAZY and so cold. The kids had lots of fun and we stayed for an hour. LM even tried going down the slide by himself. He climbed the stairs up to it and got one foot up. he couldn't figure out how to get the second foot up so he gave up and took his foot out of the slide. I think he will be all over this summer...which will be nicer for me not having to help him out huge and PG. Tonight I was cleaning out the fridge and a bottle of spaghetti sauce went flying. It made a HUGE mess but thankfully DH cleaned it up and mopped the floor too. Yuck. Let me tell you though--I hate cleaning out the fridge but it's even WORSE being PG! Those smells were awful.
