Long Day

Today was exhausting. We had swim class which the kids did GREAT!! DD laid so far back in the water and they even practiced diving off the gutter in the pool...with parents helping. She did great. It's hard to believe that her first class a few weeks ago that she didn't want her head in the water at all. She's doing wonderful. LM had a blast in the pool. He loves swimming with daddy and splashing in the water. He got to be a "taco" today too with the float mat. He was so relaxed on it and smiling galore too.

I had my party tonight. It took forever to leave and I had to return home for a binder I forgot so I ended up being a half hour late and barely arrived before the guests did. It was chaotic but fun. Thankfully we made a party so that was good and paid for the gas to drive out there since it was over an hour away. It was nice to see my friend again and get to meet more of her extended family. I'm exhausted now though from all the standing. I plan on going through my lesson for tomorrow and heading to bed. Going without a nap today was rough. Thankfully the kids slept in till 8:30. It was WONDERFUL!

This morning LM and DD had a fun time playing before swim class.
