Once home from swimming we ate lunch and put the kids to bed so we could get the house ready for LM's party. It was a lot of fun. We only had a few people not show up but had a great turn out. We played follow the choo, choo train, bean bag toss into the train cars, and hot "train". It was fun and I think everyone loved it. LM LOVED his cake and ate almost all of it. He spit up some of it later on while we were driving in the car to get dinner. The poor kid. I think his stomach was shocked by all that sugar. I'm going to need to make a healthier treat for his b-day on Tuesday.Look Who's Turning ONE!!!
DD was NOT happy about her brother making a mess...you can hear her crying at the end of the video. I had to take her down the hall to the office to calm her down.
Playing: toss the bean bags into the train "cars" (shoe boxes)
Presents! All the kids loved playing with them.

After everyone left DD and LM had fun playing with the trains.

Tonight we got a babysitter and had a triple date with both sets of our parents. It was so fun. We went and saw the movie "Blind Side". It was so good! I asked DH if he's ready to adopt kids now...I think he thinks I'm nuts and that we have enough kids for now. He's right but I do feel a draw to try and better a child's life and give them a place they can call home. The best part about the date was coming home to SLEEPING children!!! LOVE that.
