DH, bless his heart let me go back to sleep this morning. I was so tired when LM woke up and just couldn't do it. DH went to run some errands with DD (shipping stuff for work and for me). They were able to go out to lunch together and have a little date! DD loved it and it was nice for her to get some one-on-one attention.

DH got a nap this afternoon/evening and even with the kids being cranky I was able to get dinner made (with two little chefs to help me). I tried out two new recipes: Fettuccine Alfredo and sinful Bread. It was all too rich for my liking. DH liked, DD said it was yummy (not the bread), and LM spit it out. He's been on a feeding strike this week which has been a bit frustrating. It's so hard to figure out what he will eat.

I moved all of DD's dress up clothes to a different bin to put under her bed...so we took advantage of having it all out and played dress up. I take credit for turning my son into a girl. DH didn't approve but I thought it was funny especially since he keeps the headband on long than his sister will.

Tonight I had YW and it was combined with all the girls. We did trust games. It was a lot of fun and hilarious to watch. I wish I had remembered my camera like I had planned but left it with DH. They played the Orange (neck passing game), doughnut pass with Popsicle sticks, penny drop in the egg cartoon, and lots more. I helped one team with the penny drop since one girl hurt her ankle and was wearing a brace. It provided a TON of exercise. I think I ended up running down to the end of the gym and back 20 times before our team finally won! We got donuts and cookies with milk for a treat after and I drank 3 glasses of milk. I was so thirsty after all that running. I'm not young any more. So sad.

After YW I headed up to Sandy and hit up the Dollar Tree for to get some stuff to decorate for LM's 1st Birthday party on Saturday. We decided just on Tuesday to have his party this Saturday since some friend's girls are having their b-day parties the next two Saturdays. It will be a full day with swimming before hand, lunch, naps, and decorating all before 3:30pm. I hope I didn't forget to invite someone. Since everything was thrown together so quickly. If you read this and want to come just let me know. We are going low key since it's a 1st b-day and just having cake with a few games. It should be fun though and just enough to not overwhelm LM. I still can't believe he's going to be 1!!! It's gone by way too fast.
