Success!

LM is standing now for a good 30 seconds without much trying. He even stood himself up this morning and took 2 steps to me all on his own. I don't think it will be much longer before he's truly walking. He gets so happy walking too. I just love his open mouth grins!

DD even tried going pee tonight before bed on the potty which is HUGE. She always avoids the potty after going one day. I think we are getting closer to potty training. I pray she does this on her own like she did yesterday. It makes things so much easier. It would be typical for her since she has done EVERYTHING on her own time table.

We had DH's mom over tonight for Family Home Evening (little lesson, songs, scriptures. It was nice having her over. She hadn't seen LM walk yet and was so surprised when I was walking him over to her and then let go of his hands and he kept going. It was fun to see her surprised reaction. DD loved the attention she got too. DH's dad flew down to CA last night because his mom is in the ICU. I don't know if she's going to make it through this. She's old though in her mid 90's so she's lived a good life. Time will tell but there might be a funeral soon. We are trying to figure out if the whole family should drive down or have DH fly.
