DD likes to say bye-bye to my pee but won't go herself. Lately (like today) she is trying to straddle the BIG toilet to but has already gone poop in her diaper. She's getting it but not before it happens. I wonder how long it will take for her to really want to go. She loves to sit on the toilet but doesn't want me to pull her pants down. I'm not pushing it though because I know she will do it in her own time like she has with everything else in her short life.
It's so hot here I can't think of anything else...I wanted my dad to help install our window a/c unit that a friend gave us to use but he got called away to work so that didn't happen and DH's working. I pray tomorrow he can help us out since it's SO HOT without A/C. It's suppose to be in the 100's this weekend and next week too. YIKES!!
I took the kids after LM 's morning nap to a friend's house of a play date. She just had her third baby boy a month ago and her 2nd son is DD's age too. DD had a blast running all around the house after the boys and it was nice chatting with my two friends. After naps today I took the kids outside for a water fight. DD all on her own grabbed a bucket of water and dumped it on my back/shoulder while I was turned talking to LM on the ground in his bumbo. Later she dumped a bucket of water on LM's head! She thought it was so funny too. After a few buckets I told her she could only pour it on his feet. I think LM liked it but was surprised by the cold and being wet. He never cried though over it. It was lots of fun and a way to cool off. We might do that tomorrow too!
