DD got her Little Sparkler's Cyber birthday present today.

While talking to a friend she was discussing how she likes her house to be spotless and picked up when people come over. It made me remember when we were first married and I asked DH to pick up the living room before his parents came over for dinner. He "started" and then sat back down after a little bit and I asked him if he was going to finish. He said he had but then I pointed out the other things that I wanted completed so it was picked up to my standards. I learned at that moment that we see things differently. Sadly I still forget from time to time though I'm trying to do better at that too.

After trimming LM and DD's nails DD decided to cut mine too!
She was extra careful too.

We tried running errands this morning but after stopping by two friend's houses (only 2-5 minutes away) and picking up some stuff DD passed out on us (sleeping). I tried to wake her up since we were going to lunch but she wouldn't stir. DH said we were going to take her home then and I said I would go by myself to run errands. It was wonderful to get out by myself!!! It was a rare treat. LM only napped for DH for 20 minutes. He's been taking 3 hour naps for me the past couple of days. I was shocked. I came back early to try and get him to sleep since he was overly exhausted. It took me a while to get him to sleep too. I use to just lay him down and he would be out. Not today though.

DD accidentally hit Daddy in a sensitive area. Poor Daddy. It's hard to stay too mad at a cute face though.

DH and his friend went to a movie tonight and my friend and her girls came over to hang out. The girls had fun playing with each other. I tried to get more of LM's wall completed but didn't have much success. He was CRANKY and had to be held and even then some times whined. I tried laying him down twice but that didn't work. After 2 hours I finally decided he was going to go to sleep and if he cried then he would cry. I was done. Thankfully he did sleep and just a few minutes ago woke up to eat. I pray he doesn't wake up super early for the day since he went down earlier than normal and was so off on his nap schedule.

When I got back from shopping DH showed me LM's new trick. He can officially roll from his back to tummy. I caught the last part of it two nights ago but saw it from start to finish today. I'm so happy for him. He wouldn't do if for the camera though. That's a typical Lewis child!

I cleaned out the frig and look what I found...GROSS. I never took pics of the eggs I did so I took the pics and threw these babies out in the trash!

My lovely mother dropped of the stuff to make jam. I smashed up the raspberries I had picked and picked a few more to make these yummy containers of freezer jam! YUMMY!!!

Funny/cute stories for the day. . .
Today while I was trying to put LM down for his afternoon nap I was bouncing him and shhing him on my shoulder. DD gets her doll and brings her in the room and copies me. It was so cute to watch her bend her knees and bounce her little baby and say "shh".

Then tonight when I was putting DD to bed she attacked me with her pound puppy while I was laying my head on her pillow and she even barked. It was too funny!!! I was sort of in shock that she had done that since my head was face down on the pillow. All I heard was her barking and then looked up and saw the pound puppy in her hand. She giggled too at that point. It was hilarious!
